This article written by surgeon Abraham Myers is based on his treatment of 267 cases of low back pain with and without sciatica. These were problem type cases which had not responded to conservative treatment.  The author compares his success rate to those of Dr. Hackett’s (82 per cent success rate with a 19 year follow-up period)  with a shorter follow-up period (4 years).  The article also diagrams typical injection sites.
